video Aug 17, 2014

Unless you've been living on a remote island with no internet access, you’ve seen the Ice Bucket Challenge that has taken over Facebook. People post a video of themselves dumping a bucket of ice over their head and then challenge others to do the same to raise awareness of and raise money for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

The videos on Facebook have all been great, but this one from Gabriella is the best because her Dad has ALS and is part of the video and he takes the challenge too! [Source]

Kreg Palko's Ice Bucket Challenge

Thank you Team FrateTrain for getting this going, and to EVERYONE who has helped put ALS on the map! Dad nominated CP and Nicole Patton, and I was so anxious about the ice water I completely forgot my nominations!! Kyle Palko, Jared Hanson, and Jack Burger, you're up to #strikeoutALS !! Though this disease has impaired his ability to walk, move, and talk, his brain is unaffected. Therefore, his desire to partake in ridiculous things is still very much prevalent. Here is the strongest man I know participating in the #icebucketchallenge Donations can be made at,, and
